POLICE made an arrest after reports of a motorbike “carrying multiple occupants” being ridden on a busy Somerset road.
Officers were called to the A39 towards Minehead on Thursday afternoon (October 16) and recovered a suspected stolen motorcycle.
“Later that evening, several individuals were detained and searched,” an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said. “One male was arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft and going equipped for theft.
“We’re grateful to the local community for their awareness and support during this incident – your help plays a vital role in keeping our neighbourhoods safe.”
