On Sunday 13 June Police were called to The Arrow, in The Forum, Yeovil shortly after 8.50pm. A man, in his 20s, had been assaulted in the men’s toilets. He has since been released from hospital after sustaining multiple broken ribs and a punctured lung.

Avon & Somerset Police are still investigating the incident. PC Jessica Forsey told The Leveller “Enquiries into what happened, including reviewing CCTV footage, are ongoing.” However they are especially keen to talk to a young man who went to the victim’s aid. He helped him back on to his feet after the assault.
