Two cars collided between the Chelston Roundabout and the turning for Ham on the A38 on Tuesday (18 May). The roundabout is to the east of Wellington where the A38 meets the M5 feeder road. The incident happened at 9.30 in the morning. The driver of one of the cars, a grey BMW, fled the scene. The driver failed to provide details or check on the welfare of the other driver involved.

Avon & Somerset Police are asking for your help. Did you witness the collision? Do you have dashcam footage of what happened? Did you see the BMW driving away from the scene? Did you see or recognize the driver? It is likely to have sustained some damage in the collision.
