Avon & Somerset Police are trying to trace the driver of a car following a collision in Yeovil last week. At about 6.15pm on Monday 8 November a car and bicycle collided on Lyde Road, Yeovil. The driver of the vehicle initially stopped and spoke with the teenage cyclist to check on their welfare. However he then left the scene without providing any contact details.
Eventually the cyclist had to go to hospital for treatment.
