MINI Police members in Yeovil have been spreading kindness and goodwill in the town – in the form of painted pebbles.
Youngsters from Preston CofE Primary School, in The Toose, welcomed PCSOs from Avon & Somerset Police recently, who taught them about the importance of community and mental health/wellbeing.
“They decided to paint ‘positivity pebbles’ with positive messages on and hide them in the community to spread some joy and kindness,” a police spokesperson said.
“These will hopefully put some smiles on people’s faces that are lucky enough to find them on a rainy grey day in February.
“They also brought in donations for charity shops and learned about the good work charities do.”
Anyone who finds a positivity pebble in Yeovil is urged to post a picture on social media using the hashtag, #MiniPolice.
