Work underway on first new bungalows on Taunton estate in a decade

WORK is underway on three new bungalows on a Taunton housing development – believed to be the first in around 10 years.

Developer Summerfield Homes is marketing the three-bed trio, which are being built at the Killams Park development, on the outskirts of the county town.

Ed Khodabandehloo, MD of Summerfield Homes, said: “We are pleased to include three bungalows in this latest phase of our development at Killams Park and are committed to offering a variety of homes to meet the diverse needs of the community.

“We understand from local estate agents that these are the first new build bungalows available to buy in this part of Taunton for around a decade.”

Summerfield said the bungalows would feature “the latest technology”, including solar panels, double glazing, EV charging points, LED lighting, an enclosed rear garden, a garage, and parking.
