A VEHICLE sustained significant damage at the weekend after it caught on fire in Pawlett.
Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue service received multiple calls that a vehicle on the A38 in Puriton was on fire at around 2.42pm on Saturday (February 22).
A crew from Bridgwater was mobilised and got to work using two breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
“Unfortunately, the vehicle sustained approximately 80% fire damage,” a spokesperson said.
“The cause of the fire is to be accidental.”
