HESTERCOMBE House and Gardens will be appearing on TV screens this evening.
The attraction, on the outskirts of Taunton, will appear in Thursday’s episode (March 14) of Somerset: Wonder of the West Country, on Channel 5.
Cameras were at Hestercombe for filming as part of an episode which will also feature the Jane Austen Festival in Bath and Exmoor ponies.
“Let us know what you think,” said a Hestercombe spokesperson.
Originally built in the 16th century, Hestercombe House was home to the British 8th Corps during World War II.
Its gardens have been restored to Gertrude Jekyll’s original plans and is visited by around 70,000 people each year.
Somerset: Wonder of the West Country airs at 8pm on Channel 5.
