A TYRANNOSAURUS Rex has been spotted in the wilds of the Somerset Levels! But rest easy folks, Somerset has not been picked to host a real-life Jurassic Park.
The huge dinosaur was in fact made of willow – created by the experts at Coates English Willow, in Stoke St Gregory, near Taunton.
It was among pieces created for the Coates’ dinosaur trail earlier this year, which were later auctioned off.
Now, it has been spotted in the wild – and a picture posted on social media by Jenny Simpson.
“What a fabulous photo of our Coates English Willow T-Rex taken by Jenny Simpson with the caption, ‘T Rex, with some company today’,” a Coates spokesperson said.
“Love it, how very festive.”
