SHEPTON Mallet Prison is locked down – for mystery filming.
The Somerset attraction is a common location for filming, having been used as a location for productions such as Paddington 2, Casualty and David Tennant drama, DES.
A spokesperson for the prison said it would be closed to visitors today and tomorrow (November 20 and 21) for “production purposes”.
“We love seeing Shepton Mallet Prison on the big screen, but we have to admit, we miss having you behind bars,” they added.
“While we’re temporarily locked down, why not have some fun? Which production do you think is being filmed here?”
