A PERSON was freed from wreckage after a crash this morning (January 14).
The incident occurred at around 6.45am on the A359 near Cloford, in the Wanstrow area.
Emergency services, including firefighters from Castle Cary and Frome were sent to the scene.
“On arrival, crews confirmed this was a single vehicle collision and there was one person still trapped inside,” a Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said.
“Crews used cutting gear and small tools to release casualty, who was then handed over to on-scene paramedics.”
