A PERSON has sadly died on the tracks near Yeovil Pen Mill railway.
British Transport Police say a casualty was first reported just after 5.40pm yesterday (March 17) and the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Their death is not being treated as suspicious.

A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a report of a casualty on the tracks just after 5.40pm yesterday (March 17) on the line near Yeovil Pen Mill railway station.
“Officers, paramedics and fire attended and sadly a person was pronounced deceased.
“The incident is not thought to be suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
