Open casting for aspiring models ahead of Bridgwater show

ASPIRING models could get their big break during a show in Bridgwater.

Next month, fashion designer Nathan Slate is staging The Seasons Fashion Show at St Mary’s Church.

And he is set to host an open casting call for new and experienced models between 6pm and 8pm on Thursday, April 17, at Slate Concept Store, in Clare Street.

“If you are aged 18 and above, are confident and interested in walking the runway at this exciting professional fashion event, this casting call is for you. All shapes welcome,” a spokesperson said.

The show itself is set to take place over two nights — May 30 and 31 – featuring catwalk collections from four international designers, with professional lighting, full production, and a stunning venue backdrop.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in a professional fashion setting,” the spokesperson added.

“The show is supported by Bridgwater and Taunton College, with students from photography, media, and hair and beauty courses all contributing their creative talents.

“Don’t miss your chance to be part of Bridgwater’s first fashion event of this scale — come along to the casting call and be part of an unforgettable celebration of style, creativity, and collaboration.”
