NEWSPAPERS left on a hob ended in a callout for firefighters in Yeovil.
Firefighters from the town were sent to a property in Hendford at just after 11.45am on Friday morning (September 19).
“On arrival, the crews confirmed that there had been a small fire within the property consisting of newspapers left on a kitchen hob, but that the fire was out on arrival,” a Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said.
“The crews used a fan to remove the light smoke from within the property.”
