A LISTED former office building in the heart of Bridgwater – which has planning permission for conversion to six flats – is going up for auction next month.
Number 16 Castle Street, a Grade 1 listed building, is set to go under the hammer during an auction at Rookery Manor, in Edingworth Road, Edingworth, Weston, on Wednesday, March 26.
It has been listed with a guide price of between £400,000 and £450,000.

The property listing, by Stephen & Co, describes 16 Castle Street as “an exceptional Grade 1 Listed premises, last used as offices, comprising a pair of two adjacent buildings with planning permission for conversion into six two- and three-bedroom residential flats”.
“The property is centrally located within a sought-after area in an historic part of Bridgwater, offering a superb development opportunity for conversion to residential or other use, subject to planning,” it went on.
