PEOPLE in Weston-super-Mare were urged to keep doors and windows shut as firefighters tackled a blaze this morning.
Crews from Weston fire station responded to a blaze in the Oldmixon area at around 10am and issued the warning to households and businesses.
A Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Please avoid the area if possible. If you live or work in the area, please keep your windows and doors closed.”
An update from firefighters at around 11am said the fire had been extinguished and that no one was hurt.
