A WEEKEND bonfire near Taunton got out of hand – prompting a call to firefighters.
Crews from Taunton and Wellington were sent to the scene, near Wrantage, on Saturday after the fire got “out of control”.
A Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson added: “The fire spread to grass land and a hedgerow. The Incident Commander requested a second appliance for additional water and were supported by a crew from Wellington.”
