Clarks Village reveals top dogs for public vote in Pawsome Pooch contest

TEN dogs are up for the coveted title of Clarks Village’s canine executive officer (CEO), and its now up to the public to decide the winner.

The contest will award just one pup the prestigious ‘CEO’ role, in charge of all things dog-related at the Somerset shopping outlet after attending the dog-friendly Pawsome Pooch event.

Hundreds of pet portraits were taken by professional pet pup-arazzi photographers at the Clarks Village event and judges have now revealed the final shortlist of dogs in with a chance of scooping the prize.

The winner will also receive a prize package worth more than £500 including shopping vouchers and a pet-spa minibreak at the dog-friendly Montigo Resorts hotel.

The shortlist will now be put forward for a public vote which will go live on Clarks Village’s Facebook and Instagram pages today, September 13.

The winner will be announced on September 20.

  4. Elsie: Bearded Collie
  5. Koppa: Bracco Italiano
  6. Peter: Miniature Dachshund
  7. Monty: Cocker Spaniel
  8. Luka: Spitz
  9. Fox: Cockapoo
  10. Daisy: Labrador

As well as the photo shoot contest, the free Pawsome Pooch event at Clarks Village featured pet pampering by Britain’s best groomer Kelly Davis, an agility course and dog trick sessions by Passion for Pets, pawtrait sketches by illustrator Alan Snow as well as demonstrations and fundraising from the Guide Dogs charity.

“With the shortlist announced, we now invite guests to cast their vote to have their say on their favourite dog to become 2024’s most Pawsome Pooch.”
