TWO cars were damaged after a fire in a garage in Cheddar.
The incident, at just after 3.40pm on Sunday afternoon (February 8), saw firefighters called to reports of a blaze in an outbuilding.
“Once in attendance, crews confirmed one outbuilding with two vehicles on fire inside,” a Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said.
“Crews got to work extinguishing the fire using breathing apparatus and hose reel jet.”
At just after 5.30pm, the crew said “two vehicles within outbuilding involved in fire, one was completely destroyed by fire and one was partially damaged by fire”.
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one thermal imaging camera and small tools to put out the blaze, they added.
“Crews were unable to determine the cause of this fire,” the spokesperson said.
