DOG walkers and ramblers are being advised the car park at a popular spot in Weston-super-Mare is to close from tomorrow evening (August 6).

North Somerset Council has warned visitors the car park at Weston Woods will shut at around 8pm on Wednesday night.

The following morning, work will begin on “essential pothole repairs”.

“Work will begin from 8am on Thursday (August 7), and is expected to be completed the same day,” a council spokesperson said.

“For everyone’s safety, please look out for the signage and stick to the paths.

“We’ll reopen the car park as soon as the work is finished. Thanks for your patience while we make these improvements.”
