A CAR was destroyed by fire in the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters from Shepton mallet were sent to the scene, at Ashwick, at around 2.36am after reports of a car fire.
“Crews attended and dealt with one car, which was 100% damaged by fire, using one hose reel jet and one thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots,” a Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said.
