A CAR was completely destroyed by fire in East Pennard last night (April 17).
Fire crews from Castle Cary was sent to the village at at just before 7.30pm.
“On arrival, crews confirmed one vehicle was well alight and suffered 100% fire damage,” a Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said.
“Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one compressed air foam jet and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire which was confirmed to be accidental.”
