Buses diverted and stops closed during Street road closure next month

BUSES in Street will be diverted for three days next month during a road closure.

Bristol Water will be carrying out carriageway works in Leigh Road from 7am on Monday, August 11, until 6pm on Wednesday, August 13, with the road closed to traffic.

Bus operators First and South West Coaches have informed travellers that services will be diverted during the closure – affecting the 667, 373, 374, 375, 376 and 376x.

“Regrettably, the bus stops at Crispin Hall, The King Alfred and The Tanyard will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either the Glaston Road bus stop or Hicks Cider Farm on Middle Leigh,” the firms said.
