Bridgwater Library closed for “emergency building work”

BRIDGWATER Library has closed temporarily for “emergency building works”.

The facility, in Binford Place, closed today (October 22), Somerset Council said, amid work on the roof of the building.

A spokesperson from the library said: “We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.

“We are working hard with our building contractors to get the library open as soon as possible.”

Loans from Bridgwater Library will automatically be renewed during the closure, they said, with e-books and e-audiobooks still available via librarieswest.org.uk.
