TRAFFIC lights have failed on a busy Somerset route – with temporary lights installed to manage traffic.
Somerset Council said the signals on the A39 Westway junction with Farm Road, in Street, had failed this morning (December 31).
“Temporary traffic signals will be installed shortly to manage traffic safely,” a spokesperson said.
“Please drive with care and allow extra time.”
It comes ahead of planned work to replace lights along the A39 in Street, near Clarks Village, in the new year.
