DRIVERS are being warned of delays on a busy Yeovil route after a water leak.
Wessex Water engineers were called to reports of a leak on the A30 Sherborne Road, near Babylon Hill, last night.
However, Somerset Council said they were unable to finish works, with temporary traffic lights now in place while the repairs are carried out.
“Wessex Water is working hard to ensure the repairs are complete and the highway is clear before the bank holiday weekend. Thank you for your patience,” a council spokesperson said.
The route at Babylon Hill is a busy thoroughfare in Yeovil, with thousands of cars using it each day, with the May Day bank holiday approaching.
