A PEDESTRIAN in his 70s suffered a serious head injury after a crash which also involved a Smart car and two other vehicles in Langport.
The incident unfolded at the car park in Parrett Close, near Langport Library, at around 2.25pm on Monday afternoon (May 5).
Paramedics and police officers were sent to the scene, and a police spokesperson said a “Smart car was involved in a collision with a pedestrian and two stationary vehicles”.
“The pedestrian, who is a man in his 70s, sustained a serious head injury and was taken to hospital,” they added.
“The sole occupant of the Smart car remained at the scene and sustained no physical injury.”
