A MAIN Bridgwater road will be closed this evening (September 3) for more roadworks.
The A38 Taunton Road will be shut from the Showground Roundabout to Broadway between 8pm and around 11pm.
Contractor Kier will be carrying out “an emergency safety defect repair” in the road on behalf of Somerset Council.
It comes after work was carried out on the same stretch last week (August 27) to repair a “safety issue”.
A diversion will be in place via Showground Road and Squibbers Way.
