THE M5 through Somerset is closed as emergency services attend a “welfare incident”.
Police said the motorway was shut between junctions 18 (M49) and 19 (Portishead).
“We are grateful for your patience and understanding while emergency services respond to this matter,” an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said.
