THERE were delays this morning after a crash on the A303.
The route, just after the Podimore roundabout towards Sparkford, was backed up after a number of vehicles were involved in a crash.
The incident, at around 6.30am, saw both sides of the route facing delays as vehicles – including a van and two cars – were recovered.
Police were on the scene, with two damaged vehicles remaining on the spot at around 7.30am.
One had suffered significant damage at the front, while another was positioned off the carriageway, on the grass verge.
