A PERSON was freed from a vehicle which ended up on its roof after a crash near Ilminster this morning (November 25).
Emergency services were called to Whitelackington at just after 7am to reports of a crash involving two vehicles.
Two fire crews from Chard were sent to the scene, a Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said.
“On arrival, they confirmed that one person was still trapped in one of the vehicles that was on its roof,” they added.
“Crews released the casualty by using electric cutting equipment. The casualty was then left in the hands of the ambulance crews in attendance.”
