A BIKER was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash near Keynsham.
The incident, on a dual-carriageway section of the A39 near Marksbury, involved a red Honda CBR motorcycle which collided with a grey Toyota Corolla at around 1.55pm on Saturday (October 11).
Police said the rider of the motorcycle, a 67-year-old man, was taken to hospital with injuries which were “initially described as life-threatening”.
“His injuries are not considered life-threatening or life-changing at this stage, but he remains in hospital with serious injuries and is stable,” an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson added. “His next of kin have been informed.”
Officers are now keen to hear from witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage of the incident, or of the vehicles involved in the moments leading up to the crash, on 101, quoting reference 5225285617.
