THE King’s New Year Honours List for 2025 has been revealed – and there’s a number of people across Somerset who have been highlighted for the invaluable work they do in the county.
The list showcases the achievements and dedication of those who have gone above and beyond for their community and it includes volunteers, public workers, sports people and business people.
Some of those honoured in the list include Frome’s Julie Anne Devey, a campaigner and co-founder of Killed Women, who was awarded an OBE. Also on the list is Nicola Clare Halford from Radstock for her fundraising work and Douglas Sidney Allen from Chard for services to policing.
