FIVE new defibrillators have been installed across Bridgwater to help make the town a safer place for everyone.
Bridgwater Town Council secured funding from the Department of Health and Social Care, which has allowed them to purchase and fit the life-saving equipment across the town.
A Bridgwater Town Council spokesperson said this initiative will help enhance the safety and well-being of the community and is another step towards making Bridgwater a safer place for everyone.
The new defibrillators have been installed at the following locations:
• Westfield United Reformed Church- West Street, Bridgwater TA6 7EU
• ReCreation Community Hub- Rhode Lane, Bridgwater TA6 6HZ
• The Quantock, Greene King Pub & Carvery- 95 Wembdon Road, Bridgwater TA6 7DP
• The Activity Warehouse – Unit 5 East Quay, Bridgwater, Somerset TA6 4DB
• One Stop- Allen Road, Bridgwater TA6 6YA
These defibrillators will be added to the Defib Finder website https://www.defibfinder.uk/ making it easier for residents and visitors to locate the nearest device in an emergency.
