Iconic Glastonbury Festival stage among skateboard designs for Wells fundraiser

LEGENDARY performance group Arcadia – known for the iconic ‘spider’ at the Glastonbury Festival – have backed a campaign for a new Somerset skatepark.

Arcadia, based in Bristol, has sponsored the Wells Skatepark Project, which is fundraising for a new facility at Love Lane, where the previous park had fallen into disrepair.

Meanwhile, Arcadia is also represented on a new skateboard design up for auction to raise money for the project.

The deck was designed by Sarah Goodall, one of the talented Glastonbury Festival bin painters, and is among dozens on show at the Heart of the Tribe gallery in Glastonbury until November 25.

You can bid for the Arcadia Spider deck and explore all 40+ artist boards online at https://app.galabid.com/skatewells.
