Lucy Spraggan joins Wychwood Festival 2025 line-up

ACCLAIMED singer songwriter Lucy Spraggan has been added to the line-up for the 2025 Wychwood Festival.

The star, who rose to prominence after appearing on reality show The X Factor in 2012, will appear on Sunday at the Cheltenham event, which runs from May 30 to June 1.

Taking place at Cheltenham Racecourse, Wychwood has already announced a pretty stellar line-up, including main stage headliners James, Shed Seven and Doves, as well as the likes of The Zutons, Lottery Winners and Goldie Lookin’ Chain also on the bill.

“Lucy’s unique blend of folk, indie-pop and acoustic sounds paired with powerful and emotive lyrics have captivated audiences worldwide and now she’s bringing her incredible energy to our Main Stage on Sunday,” a festival spokesperson said.

She has sold more than 150,000 albums and reached more than 150 million streams on Spotify alone with hits including the likes of Last Night and Lucky Stars.

In 2024, she released her memoir, Process, which made the Sunday Times bestsellers list.

Singer songwriter Lucy has become something of a favourite at festivals in recent years – including at Glastonbury, where she has performed three times, lastly in 2024 on the Avalon Stage, a set which made your Somerset Leveller’s list of ‘fantastic acts you may have missed’.
