Indie heroes James to headline Wychwood Festival 2025

INDIE legends James have been announced as a headliner at next year’s Wychwood Festival.

The event, at Cheltenham Racecourse, runs from May 30 to June 1 and is among the first festivals of the summer season.

James, famed for hits from Sit Down to Laid and more, have been confirmed as the first of three headliners at the show.

“One of Britain’s most enduring success stories, the Manchester legends are among the most commercially, artistically successful – and most loved – alternative rock bands of their era, and we’re filled with joy to be welcoming them back next year to headline your Saturday night,” a spokesperson said.

Saturday and weekend tickets are on sale for Wychwood 2025, with the spokesperson urging people to buy now “to avoid disappointment”.

“There’s lots to announce in the coming months, including 50-plus artists across all stages, 100-plus free workshops for all ages, comedy, Howlin’ Pete’s and Storybox, the amazing street-food on offer and so much more,” the spokesperson added.
