A NEW food festival is set to welcome visitors to Clarks Village this weekend.
The free tasty event will run on Saturday and Sunday, September 20 and 21, at the outlet shopping centre, in Street.
Organisers promise a weekend of “flavour-packed dishes, artisanal produce, and music”.
Guests can expect speciality duck burgers, wraps and salads from The Duck Shed, seasonal produce from The Little Holding, Greek feasts from Gyroland and Nigerian street food from Suva Boiz.
Stalls also include creperie Pan Crepes offering sweet and savoury crepes, Mexican Nopalito with its award-winning tacos, and Saffron Hill with its Persian-style saffron chicken, alongside many others.

Chris Davis, centre director at Clarks Village, said: “We’ve found that our experiential events are always met with great excitement by guests, so we’re thrilled to be launching our first-ever Food Festival.
“With a fantastic range of culinary offerings, we’re setting the vibe for the perfect relaxed September weekend.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming foodies from across the region to enjoy great cuisine and live entertainment at yet another fabulous Clarks Village event, hot on the heels of our dog-friendly Pawsome Pooch event and summer Art & Putt mini golf course.”

The Food Festival at Clarks Village in Street is open from 11am to 7pm on Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday, on the lawn of the Alfred Gillett Trust’s Shoemaker Museum.
Entry to the festival is free, with food and drink available to purchase.
It comes after last weekend’s Pawsome Pooch dog-friendly event at the village, which featured free professional pet photo shoots, pooch pampering, trick and agility displays and have-a-go sessions as well a competition looking to crown the outlet’s new CEO (Canine Executive Officer).
Judges will be announcing the shortlist on its social channels this weekend for a public vote to determine the winner.
Meanwhile, until October 12, fans of Clarks Village can vote for the venue to be crowned the UK’s most dog-friendly shopping centre in the DogFriendly Awards at dogfriendly.co.uk/shops/listing/clarks-village-shopping-outlet-92386.
