A NEW restaurant – offering treats from Nepal and India – has opened in Weston-Super-Mare and diners appear to be loving it.
The family-owned Gurkha Manor Restaurant and Bar, in Birnbeck Road, is welcoming guests to enjoy dishes that “reflect the rich Himalayan heritage” in an atmosphere “of connection and celebration”.
“At Gurkha Manor, we pride ourselves on offering a unique blend of Nepalese and Indian flavours,” a spokesperson said.
“Our family-run restaurant is dedicated to providing a cosy and welcoming atmosphere where you can enjoy delicious dishes made with care and tradition.”

They said the eatery has a “vision to honour the rich heritage of the brave Gurkhas and bring the authentic taste of Nepal to your table”.
“Rooted in pride for our culture and inspired by the spirit of veterans Gurkha Manor celebrates the resilience, warmth, and hospitality that defines Nepal,” the spokesperson went on.

And diners have been enjoying their first taste of the venue.
One social media poster said: “We just had a take out from here, it was delicious. Next time we will sit in as the views are amazing.”
