Worthy Farm – home of Glastonbury – applies for solar boost

WORTHY Farm – home of the Glastonbury Festival – has applied to install more than 400 new solar panels.

Solarsense UK Ltd, on behalf of the Pilton farm, has applied to Somerset Council for permission to install 443 panels on a farm building roof.

It would create a ‘total installed capacity of 201.5kWp’, the application said, adding to a range of panels already in place.
