RECYCLING and rubbish collections in the Taunton area were missed today (January 23) due to “vehicle issues”.
Somerset Council said some pick-ups would be delayed after a problem with a vehicle.
“We’re sorry, there are some delayed collections in Taunton today due to vehicle issues,” a council spokesperson said.
“Please leave your bins, boxes and bag out and crews will return tomorrow (Saturday) to collect your recycling.”
Anyone other missed collections – not in the Taunton area – can be reported via www.somerset.gov.uk/missed-collection, they added.
