WELLINGTON School sixth formers are once again celebrating their superb personal achievements in their A Level and BTEC results.

For the second year in a row, all medicine and veterinary applicants have been offered places and achieved the top grades of As and A*s in all subjects to secure their places in these highly competitive courses.

Eight students have secured A*s or As in all subjects and almost a third of all students achieved A* and A grades.

The school anticipates that those going onto university will be accepted into either their first or second choice.

BTEC Sport students have once again excelled too, with a plethora of Distinction or Distinction* grades to be proud of across the board.

Wellington School’s head, Alex Battison, said: “These results reflect that every individual’s story is different and we’re here to support our young people to thrive as their unique selves and achieve their personal best, inspiring them to chase their dreams and write their own story.

The way our students, staff and parents have empowered every young person behind these grades is what we must continue to champion and what makes this community so special.

Our Sixth Form offers remarkable opportunities and we are so proud of all of our students for making the most of what is on offer here; we look forward to continuing to be there for them as Old Wellingtonians as they leave us to further explore their purpose and flourish in the modern world.”
