A ‘DISTURBANCE’ in a Glastonbury street ended in two people being charged with multiple offences.
Police said they were called to Magdelene Street on Saturday (May 17) afternoon to reports of an incident.
Two men were arrested by officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT), with support from response teams across the district, an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said.
“One male has been charged with multiple offences, including public order, assaulting an emergency worker, criminal damage, and breaching a restraining order,” they went on.
“The second male has been charged with a public order offence.”

They said both men were remanded in custody and are set to appear before magistrates today (Monday).
“We’d like to thank the public for their cooperation and continued support,” the spokesperson added.
