THREE men – including from Standerwick and Ilchester – have been charged with the theft of hundreds of thousands of pounds-worth of farm equipment.
Charlie Hughes, 28, of Ilchester, and 37-year-old Eli Isaacs, of Standerwick, are due to appear in court today (December 19) along with Jack Bowerman, 35, of Ebbw Vale.
The trio will appear before magistrates in Taunton and Yeovil, Avon & Somerset Police said.
The three were arrested after a series of warrants were executed in Avon & Somerset and the Gwent police areas this week.
“It followed the theft of farming equipment from rural areas across south west England and south Wales between
March and November of this year,” an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said.
