TWO people have been arrested after they allegedly fired shots at another car on the A39 Dunster Straight near Minehead.
Officers were called to the scene at just after 6pm yesterday evening (October 3) after it was reported occupants of a car had fired shots at another vehicle.
No one was injured in the incident, an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said.
Two adults – one in their late teens, the other in his 20s – were later arrested at an address in Summerlands Road, Minehead, on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
“Officers, including specialist firearms units, seized an air pistol and pellets as well as a car,” the spokesperson added.
