Police have issued a warning to drivers after a spate of incidents in the Worle and Uphill areas.
Officers are set to increase patrols in the areas after a number of reports of thefts from vehicles.
“At this time, enquiries have not led us to an identifiable suspect,” an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said.
“Officers from the Worle and Bournville beat teams will be increasing patrols in the areas currently affected.
“However, this type of crime can spread to any part of Weston and affect anyone with a motor vehicle.”
Police have issued a range of tips to motorists to help avoid becoming a victim of crime:

“If you are a victim of this crime please report it,” the spokesperson added.
“The beat teams are actively monitoring for reports of this type in Weston in an effort to narrow down the possible offenders.
“If you have any CCTV please share it with us.
“Finally, if you have any intelligence relating to a possible offender, we really need your help.”
