POLICE will be conducting increased patrols in two Somerset towns following reports of van break ins.
Somerton and Wincanton Neighbourhood Policing Team say they are aware of a spate of van break ins in the two towns and will be conducting patrols and offering crime prevention advice as a result.
People have taken to social media to warn others to be vigilant after their own vans have been broken into, with suggestions the criminals are using a drill and screwdriver to gain entry.
