DISORDER involving between 10 and 20 teenagers in Somerton left one person needing hospital treatment.

Police were called to reports of disorder in Langport Road at between 9pm and 9.30pm on Friday, July 12.

“One person sustained swelling and bruising to the jaw and head and sought medical attention in hospital,” an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said.

“They have since been discharged to recover at home.

“Officers are appealing for anyone with dashcam, mobile phone or CCTV footage to come forward.”
