Man suffers knife wound during robbery in Wells street

A MAN was threatened and suffered a knife wound behind his ear during a robbery in Wells.

Police are investigating the incident, which occurred in Union Street some time between 3.50pm and 4pm on Sunday, December 15.

The victim – a 46-year-old man – was approached by another man, police said, who made threats and demanded money from him.

“The offender was carrying a knife and during an altercation he injured the victim, causing a cut behind his left ear,” an Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said.

“Thankfully, he didn’t need any hospital treatment.

    There is no description of the attacker in the report I read.
    No details of disguise or photo fit
    Height, words used, Fat/thin etc
    I would assume the victim has given some detail.
    If attacker IS Local there’s more chance of identifying with this information in the Community.
