A 53-YEAR-OLD man was punched repeatedly during an incident at a takeaway in Burnham-on-Sea.

The victim, who suffered a concussion following the assault, is undergoing medical assessments by eye specialists following the altercation in South Road, at around 9.30pm on September 28.

“We want to identify the man in this CCTV image in connection with an assault in Burnham-on-Sea,” a spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said.

The man in the CCTV image is described as white, in his 30’s or 40’s, of muscular build with short dark hair and he was wearing a dark t-shirt with ‘NY’ written in white on the front with blue jeans and black trainers. He also has a sleeve tattoo on his left arm.
